Marketing labels such as “non-comedogenic,” “organic,” “water-based,” “oil-free,” “natural,” “vegan,” and “eco-friendly,” presents us with a false hope that products such as these are good for the skin.This includes products labeled as “Dermatologist Approved,” “Dermatologist Recommended,” and “Dermatologist Prescribed,” as well. In fact, most familiar and well trusted products being produced by leading makeup companies from all over the world today unfortunately contain an array of pore clogging ingredients. Although this is unlikely to be intentional, it still remains to be a major contributing factor in the cause of acne for millions of women today.
